Developers of instructional software for K12 school districts, SchoolNet Inc has raised $13 million in Series D. The round was led by Carlyle Group with returning Ascend Ventures, Hamilton Lane and NY State Common Retirement Fund. The firm has raised an overall $41 million in funding. Jonathan D. Harper, CEO SchoolNet said in a statement:
School districts seek strong partners that can support data-based decision-making and offer a full spectrum of integrated instructional technology solutions. Our success within the nation’s largest school districts puts SchoolNet in a good position to continue to lead the education technology market.
