ScanScout raised $5.1 million in the first installment of its third round in which it plans to bag around $8.1 million in funding. The investors for the new round haven’t been disclosed. ScanScout is an online video ad insertion firm and was founded in 2005 and scans through clips to ensure that the content best suits the brand.
