Home Screen orientation with the iPhone models is quite a disappointment for me, especially compared to the iPad. But, those of you jailbroken iPhones can readily resolve this with a new tweak from Cydia called the SBRotator. The app can be found at the Big Boss repository for $1.99.

SBRotator enables you to change orientation of your iPhone screen as well as alter the position of the application icons in all orientations. The screen auto resizes to fit in the vertical landscape mode giving you the exact feel which you have been envying on your iPad.
The app only works if you own a jailbreak version of the iPhone and according to the developer it is fully compatible with the following:
- Infiniboard
- Overboard
- Iconoclasm
- Infinidock
- Shrink
- FCSB
- Five icon Dock
