Refocus Imaging, Inc., a California based startup has raised $250,000 in Series B funding ventured by Greylock. According to VentureBeat, the site has already raised an undisclosed first round funding in 2007. The revolutionized site is dedicated to the art of photography where you can edit your image by refocusing it.

Refocus Image offers a striking feature that are lacking in the other Photo services and sites. Number of Image editing tools allows you to alter image, but you cannot fix out the photo that is badly taken or can say is focused-out by photographer. But the technology allows you to redefine image with a special lens and captures the entire light field entering the lens. Thus you can alter depth-of-field after taking photo by adjusting slider for the image.

The technology is headed by Ren Ng’s research at Stanford University. The second round of funding will surely help Image Refocus to improve its technology and picture quality.
