A change is always good and nothing better than a change at a time when it is needed the most. Reddit has decided to launch an overhaul in its design since its debut in 2005 and acquisition by Wired Digital in 2006.
The team has taken its time in maintaining its appeal and highlighting its strengths. Something that should please the Redditers (and praise the team for their).
The upgrade is specifically about increasing the usability and making of features that have been the corner stone of Reddit. Reddit’s changes maintain its originality and simplicity but bringing it out from the Stone Age to the modern.
The changes include the navigation bar having a link to the sites top stories, customize Reddit based on the topics you want at your homepage and making the links for creating your personalized Reddit more prominent. The changes mentioned are just a few and Redditers can check more as they use the site.
Making the site easier to navigate an overhaul like this might trigger people into chanting their fears of Reddit being attacked by an influx of users from other social news sites (which is bound to bring undesired content that isn’t interesting for the Redditers). But the new customization options enable Redditers to filter any content that they don’t need.
