The service is specifically targeted to the law firms. The company provides a key tool for legal actions.

Recommind has renowned legal firms as its customer such as Cooley Godward Kronish and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich and Rosati. According to chief executive Robert Tennant, the service is progressing at a pace of almost 100% per year. With this rate of growth Tennant still thinks that there is a big opportunity for growth. The current round of funding is in line with that idea.

The amount will be used by the service to expand its sales team and also acquire some new technologies in order to enhance the business. The current of funding was lead by Kennet Partners.
