Believe it or not Amazon’s Kindle Text to Speech has been disabled by Random House for its forty titles and it shouldn’t surprise anyone. Why? Well many had showed their anti text to speech feature of Kindle 2. While all this is definitely wrong and Author’s Guild claims that the Kindle 2 creates an audio book is absolutely wrong because the device simply reads the story out, much like a teacher would read stories to students and if Kindle is accused of doing so, I wonder when are they coming after teachers? coming back to Random House, it can shut down the feature even after you have purchased the book. How ironic, if a pathetic audio quality is what they call an audio book, I doubt if they even have the credibility to fight and defend what they are standing against.
