It appears that Qik has finally realized that it has to boost its live streaming from mobiles to the masses and for that it has to take make some alliance with the social networks. Well today Qik becomes the first in mobile streaming to have Facebook Connect support. With this Qik gets the kick to target a much larger audience, this would enable direct posts to your videos on your profile without the necessity of having a dedicated app. Though I doubt Facebook doesn’t live streaming and which is why it has adopted an alternative that would let you post the link to the stream as your status. This is definitely a smart move from Qik, one that’s bound to give a kick to the number of users it has.
