We have been informed that Qik has finally taken a step ahead and has brought its availability to a wider variety of devices that are Windows Mobile enabled as well as support for selected HTC devices.
The present step is a bid to advance the service over to a wide array of mobile products so that it reaches out to a larger population and not just remain confined to a few sets already running the service. The devices that have been included in the new list are:
-
HTC Touch Dual
-
HTC Touch Diamond
-
HTC TyTn-II
-
AT&T Tilt
-
Sony Ericsson Xperia X1
Qik, the leader in live streaming mobile videos is the first service to provide live streaming to the new line of phones. The service enables users to point, click, and record and stream it live to your friends. What could be better than using your cell phone like a camcorder without being worried about the storage capacity of your mobile device?
I think it’s a much wanted step taken given the power of present mobile devices expanding all the time and they might very well replace the current media we use for information exchange etc.
