Prosper reached a quiet phase of business as the social lending process was completed by Lending Club. Prosper shall not be accepting any new loans during this period of time, though it remains continuing to service loans that have already been processed. Whereas Lending Club has finished its part of completing the its process, which took about six months to complete. A note issued by Prosper states:

"Prosper has started a process to register, with the appropriate securities authorities, promissory notes that may be offered and sold to lenders through our site in the future."
