Project Gutenberg has just released its mobile site Called PG Mobile, or Project Gutenberg’s Mobile Edition. Gutenberg Project is long recognized for its free e-books and huge stock of research texts. The project was created in 1971, when founder Michael Hart, author of the book The 100 keyed in The United States Declaration of Independence and informed the first 100 internet users.
As we know today, everything is fast migrating to mobiles, the Project would again get a boost in the number of users it has. All you need is an app based on Java to turn your handset into a mobile booklet. Sorry iPhone users, you cant use this one as your phone doesn’t support Java based apps.
The application is a charm to use and I really like the new site. A job well done.
