With the advent of internet in mobiles, the trend of accessing internet have changed. With the huge level of popularity, investors are also concentrating this area. MoFuse, an online mobile site, has also joined the race and has raised an investment in the first round of funding.
The Providence, Rhode Island based company which started in August 2007, provide bloggers the ability to publish their stuff online using mobiles. The service is not specific to bloggers which means that anyone can create a mobile website using the MoFuse platform.
According to the company, it is currently serving over 12,000 blogs. Last year the number of mobile sites in MoFuse netwrork was around 2,200. This shows the level of popularity of the company. Furthermore the number of page views have increased 935% since January 2008.
The company has raised the amount from Slater Technology Fund. The amount raised has yet to be disclosed.
