image257 PoetryVisualized: Let others see what you imagine Poetry lovers have yet another site to push in their verses for others to read and to add more; work out on their poetic ideas and amalgamate them into an exciting and more lively format  by bringing combined talents of poets, actors and motion graphic artists at one place.

The idea behind PoetryVisualized is plain and simple; hop in to show off your creative talents. The idea is to bring about something way better than just an online collection of short films; which is to combine various short visual poetry/short films into one as a full length movie and promoting it in various festivals, selling it on the website, in short bringing up a global distribution of the something that has been tailored in creativity.

Now that doesn’t mean one has to be an artist or has to submit a full motion graphic version of his poetry, you can simply submit your idea, that is the text only versions and share it with others to use your idea and create something far more effective and appealing combining it with audio, music, photography and a whole lot of creative methods and techniques. The objective? Well to mix the individual creative talents as one and bring the best to the world.

Rod Underhill, the man behind MP3.com represents PoetryVisualized.com and the entire idea has been plainly put forward to; providing the creative lot with a platform where they can fuse various aspects and modes of creative expressions as one. From creating a piece to sharing it with friends via email, the platform provides users a chance to socialize with the creative crowd and work like any other social network present.

What’s my take on this; a much needed service, people don’t usually get along reading poems and the idea to mix various methods of creative expression makes it appear all too appealing and worth it. The community has got all sorts of things from groups to festivals in order to aptly promote the works put up by members. However they can definitely use a bit of creativity to make the site appear less dull, as if it has been designed for work pointing at mourning etc.
