to take a “power nap� today according to the latest post on their blog:

A quick note that Plurk and the A-team will be taking a scheduled 30-45 minute power nap between 9-10 PM EDT (2-3AM EDT) later today.

Pretty long nap for a busy service like Plurk, I say. But hope it doesn’t become a habit, unlike a certain microblogging service we know of. And which reminds me of the fact that it’s been almost a fortnight since Startup Meme’s Twitter account worked for us.

Update: Plurk has been reported to be slow over the past few days according to some “Plurkaholics�, so it explains why the downtime is scheduled. Hopefully it brings back the performance to an acceptable level.
