Plista received funding of an unknown amount from long time investor Draper Investment Company, also joined by Swiss-based investor, Peter Schüpbach. CEO Dominik Matyka shared this much that the previous investment was $500,000. Berlin-based Plista offers social recommendation services, and announced moving into private beta today as the company plans to go public in January next year. The system uses a ‘collaborative filtering’ and works on the Internet, mobile and video-on-demand apps.
