PixelPipe, a company that like Friendfeed, SocialThing and Ping.fm, is trying to solve the social noise problem. You could think of the service to be a Ping.fm for your media related information. So like ping.fm sends notifications about your status/activity to all your services like twitter, plurk, friendfeed etc – PixelPipe would do just that with your media files.

So now if and when you will have to upload a video or a photo to any of the social networks like flickr, facebook, friendster etc you could do it from a central location using PixelPipe. Your photos or videos could be send to more than 50 supported services, all just with a few mouse clicks. PixelPipe not just offers a web based interface, but also has desktop clients for linux, windows, and mac so you could easily take care of bulk uploading as well.

The service is a definite and much needed step towards reducing the social noise that plenty of social networks have created for the rest of us.
