One of the most popular online services, PhotoBucket, that lets you upload, share, link and search snaps, videos and graphics, has made partnership with ScrapBlog. The later is a startup which allows users to create online scrapbooks. Last year the photo sharing site was acquired by Fox Interactive Media.

The financial terms of the partnership are yet to be disclosed. This deal will allow Scrapblog’s ‘drag and drop’ application to be present in Photobucket that will let users to work with the photo sharing site’s album in scrapbooks. After that they can be shared or embedded online. From September, 2008, the Scrapblog scrapbooks’ printed version can be bought.

Scrapblog was founded in 2006 and is based in Coral Gables, Florida. The company has generated marketing campaigns regarding scrapbook for various trademarks such as Carnival Cruise Lines, Ugly Betty (ABC television series), etc.

According to the president of Photobucket, Alex Welch:

Scrapbooks have traditionally been an important part of how people have kept and shared memories offline for many years, and bringing that capability online to Photobucket gives users even more options for enhancing their lives and expressing themselves digitally.

We are excited to partner with Scrapblog, and be the first photo and video Web site to integrate a digital-scrapbooking feature directly into the site, making it easy, convenient, and accessible to everyone.

It’s about time photographers get compensated for their work!
