Are you a teenager who is eager to share personal life with your friends or social network? Are you an excited being who wants to add fun in his/her life by exchanging memories, pictures and videos. Or you might be a corporate man who wants an efficient medium to exchange his managerial files and Excel Sheet. Or you would be a parent/guardian who is looking for an online site to share their child’s memory with kid’s grand parents. If the above words defines you better then PersonalGrid is here to serve you.

PersonalGrid is a web  based online platform that facilitates its users to share files instantly across their private network. The site takes hardly few seconds to signup and personal email once you logged into the system you are at 2 mm of distance from your destination (does this sound crappy?). Well, you can drag and drop your personal docs and pics on the upload icon (to upload it from your local machine to your online PersonalGrid interface), can add caption to them and can send your file to any social network (twitter, digg, facebook, reddit). You can import your contact list from all web based mail systems or can add peoples by their name and email id.

personal folder Users can also stratifies their contacts in to different groups and thus can share their piece of info with particular groups only. PersonalGrid allows you to share files in an audio, video or a text format. The authenticated sharing mechanism provides a ease to its users to share their confidential stuff freely. The site is offering free 2 GB data storage to its users.

Overall, the site with its desktop-ish looks is worth to try. It offers  features that are generic in use and thus the site would be useful for all age groups. The 2 GB of storage is far enough to share bare stuffs.  Do the site offers a backup also? They can introduce a feature of saving the sent items as found in all web email system. This will help users to keep a record of their doings and will also provide a tremendous back up solution so that they can easily retrieve it afterwards.

Though there are number of other competitors that are already serving globally, It is yet to seen wether Personal Grid will be able to stand by them or not.
