With list text and link of relevant sites; interface like various search sites, Peeplo offers you a fast and specific search tool.
I was a bit astonished as to why it is a called a search engine when I compared the results for ‘technology’ in both Peeplo and Google (Google showed 88,800,000 results to Peeplo’s 1940); the comparison was like a needle in a haystack and I felt offended to the limited search.
What I overlooked was a fact that Peeplo displays results based on word matches from high profile websites; both publishers and bloggers. The search can be expanded over to Google if desired.
The home page can be customized with a background image and colour of your choice. Pretty easy to navigate through and the layout is quite soothing to the eye with an attractive logo. Plus the site lets you narrow your search to Web, image or video by options at the top left of the screen once the search results have been displayed.
The site is pretty okay, but if they could make things more easier for the searcher by making the Web, Image and Video captions a but more visible (by making them a but thicker????).
