After more than three months of being divided between Apple and IBM, Papermaster finally got a breather as the issue regarding his contract with IBM saw settlement. It will take another three months (April 24) until he takes seat as SVP of Apple’s iPod and iPhone division. IBM will of course be worried about the possibility of Papermaster opening up IBM’s Pandora’s box (a major reason why his previous employer cried so much). What ever the case be, IBM will be keeping an eye on its asset, while Apple will try to juice out every every speck of his experience to bring in more success for the company.
