Looks like today is the day for Viral campaigns. Well just as I planned to end the day and pop came news of another big hit. Looks Like Larry Platt has shot from an unknown 62 year old guy to a huge hit on Facebook making news with Pants On The Ground. The fanpage of the American Idol’s New season attendee has more than 82,000 fans, in less than 24 hours.
The lyrics are plain simple and added with the video and the energy Larry has, it was bound to make it a hit. Now many people might just have joined in, finding it funny, but that is not the case with me. I admire the man for taking the step and coming out proudly with Pants on the ground. The General is telling us all that we would be fools with our pants on the ground and he is not shy to address this issue at all.
The best part however is when he performs that move and says it was to show how he can get the pants on the ground. Creative, funny and addictive, I bet he is going to go quite far with this. You can read the lyrics below:
