Looks like that Palm Pre release is all set to make a head on collision with Apple’s iPhone 3.0 release at the WWDC in June. Palm Pre would be make an entry into the smartphone lineup on June 6, two days prior Apple’s prime event and the people behind Palm are preparing to meet massive demands. Reports state that they are already stocking the device in bulk at Wal-Mart, Sprint stores, etc. he Well we have heard quite a lot about the new palm coming cheap and it will be interesting to see how the new palm fares in its competition with the iPhone. Anyone ready to buy Palm Pre instead of the iPhone 3.0?

[...] We aren’t sure if readers would consider this to even qualify as a rumor or not, but I am buying this one. Earlier today there were some photographs of the new iPhone 3.0 were leaked and what ever they revealed appears quite like the iPhone, forget about it being the latest one or not. What makes me think this one is or might be the new version of the device is the availability of selecting what mode your camera should work in, i.e video recording or taking photographs. Plus it shows the compass and the presence of autofocus proves this is definitely not the the present model of iPhone as the current architecture has no support for it. Although it hasn’t been specific about Palm Pre, but it’s obvious that it made a mentioned of all such third party media devices. Well if this turns out to be true, the Palm Pre is going to have problems selling the devices. [...]
