Ottawa based Overlay.tv, has just released news that it has got major backing of $4.6m to enhance its video technology, which it is known for.
Now with the plans stated by the company officials, the funding will allow new features to be integrated within the service allowing publishers to monetize their videos via ads more effectively.
Besides putting extra information within your videos which make it more appealing to users you can import or host the video on external servers.
The company isn’t aiming for profits but is looking forward to expanding the user base.
