orkut thumb Orkut now allows you to upload photos & alot more on the go from smart mobile devices Orkut has been making alot of news lately. First we come to know that it is bigger than Facebook in Japan and now we have a new and improved version of Orkut for the smart mobile devices.

Orkut has already launched a mobile version of the site in April but now they have come up with a more refined and polished version specifically for the smart mobile devices or lets call it the Symbian Series 60 family. The newly added feature that are meant to utilize the more extensive features of these devices include photo uploads, picture galleries, click-to-call a friend, and quick friend searches.

The good part about the new release is that you don’t need to download anything to make it work on Symbian Series 60 devices. Point your mobile browser to http://m.orkut.com to access the new version of Orkut and start uploading photos to your profile from your mobile on the go.

The phones on which you can use the new version of Orkut include Nokia’s Nseries (N95, N82, etc.) and Samsung’s SGH models. By the way the logo that you see above is an Olympics specific logo of Orkut.
