Oracle has acquired Tacit Software, a Palo Alto, California-based developer of automated profiling tools for enterprise collaboration. The terms of the deal were not disclosed. Tacit Software raised around $36 million in VC funding from the likes of Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Royal Bank of Canada Pension Fund, Woodwide Fund and Alta Partners.
