Jon von Tetzchner, CEO of Opera stated that Google’s Chrome gave people an alternative browser to work with, while it has also increased the number of downloads for his product. It has allowed breaking the market monopoly, and allowed a chance for other browsers to set up their game and make a name for themselves, again. And as von Tetzchner sees to bring Opera to the world, his goal of reaching to the 80 percent of population not using the Internet seems like a high and good aim. Where most people don’t use Internet from their mobile phones, von Tetzchner also aims to reach those masses with Opera Mini.
