Oosah made a major announcement regarding the extension of its customizable and embeddable widgets. According to the new roll out, Oosah would enable its users to create widgets using pics, videos and much more via sites like YouTube, MySpace, Flickr, etc.
This would greatly help users in sharing their content from major web sites through these widgets. Simply embed these widgets into your blog, site etc without the need to register for an Oosah account. Mike Duggan, VP and COO Oosah commented on the latest development saying:
The new Oosahs capability extends our existing line of rich-media widgets by letting users populate them with content taken directly from other leading websites. Now, by using the new Oosahs feature that lets you syndicate multiple feeds from other sites, users now can share their favorite content much more easily than they could before.
Users can create these widgets in three steps starting from choosing the site they want to aggregate content from and selecting the type of content it is. The type of content points out whether it includes images, etc. Once decided they can assign it to a particular type, for example Media Gallery for images. Once done with assigning the type users can simply select a feed with which their widget should work. Oh and you can customize it further with the color scheme of your choice.
