Cramster, global online study community has raised $3 million funding in Series A round led by Shai Reshef who is an online education industry veteran. The company has also hired Reshef as a new Chairman to filter its strategy and move in the right direction. According to TechCrunch, the company will use the funding to escalate its service and to fuel more users and their needs.
The site serves as a scholastic platform where students, educators, subject enthusiasts and parents collaborate with each other to provide online homework help in Physics, Math, Science and Engineering. Cramster allows students to share notes, exchange study tips, view textbook solutions and practice different exams problems. Apart from various nifty features its facebook app is the real plus that lets you keep track of your classmates, post schedule on your profile and allows you to check out your class rosters.
