Big Fish Games, a leading online gaming site, has raised an amount of $83.3 million in the second round of funding. The company, which is considered as an innovator in the online gaming industry, has previously raised $8 million in angel investment.
The Seattle based company’s portal is the leading distributor of online games. Currently the company has around 500 game developers and more than 1 million games are distributed each day to consumers internationally. The current round of funding was participated by backers which includes Balderton Capital, General Catalyst Partners and Salmon River Capital.

Big Fish Games intends to use the new capital raised to accelerate its global expansion.
