The Austin, Texas based online game company, Challenge Games, has raised an amount of $10 million in the second round of funding. The round was lead by Globespan Capital Partners. Previously the company raised $4.5 million in the Series A. The amount will be utilized to expand in Asia, launch new game (Warstorm), acquire rivals, etc.
Founded in 2006 by Andrew Busey, the game company contains are based on web browser. Two of the games are role playing games are ‘Duels’ and ‘Baseball Boss’. According to the company, two months ago, it acquired around 250,000 gamers playing Duels. At that time, the game was only 10 months old.
