ONEsite has had enough of being the software developer for the social networks and has now stepped into the advertising scene. The service has launched an ad platform namely, InteractAd; the idea behind is bringing social advertising in place of the more traditional advertising. With the current economic situation literally taking the ad scene to the beggary, ONEsite comes ranting that it plans breath in fresh air, focusing more on the wide community that is so widespread across the social networks. Thad Martin, SVP stated:
will in fact be platform-agnostic and take advantage of every scrap of data portability and open technology we’ve gotten our hands on.
With the interest of advertisers in social advertising sloped more towards testing it out and barely showing signs they need it, one wonders how fruitful will this venture actually prove.
