Tons of ads on your app for the iPhone doesn’t sound impressive at all but I guess the New York Times thinks it is. It has more or less flooded its app for the iPhone with intrusive ads. Though these ads coming from a media giant might help analyze how the audience interacts with ads on the new medium, I remember the shakable ad of Docker which was pretty impressive and managed to get quite some interaction on the iPhone. But to me the idea of these ads sounds more intrusive than useful, I mean who would like to see these appear while you are going through your favorite story on the app.
