Now you don’t have to ‘hate Google Maps new design’

Google Maps recently updated their design. The new design saw the removal of some of the previous features like search box, destination reordering, etc.

Don’t worry if you’re sick with the new changes because now you can switch back to the old interface. Here is the link to the old interface.

This is what Google Maps used to look earlier.

This is how it looks now.

Although the new design is good, there is always a margin of improvement. Their team is working hard on that aspect. There is also some temporary work going around so the missing features will hopefully be back soon.

   Do you see yellow surrounding the tabs in the second shot? Didn’t think so.

   So is that a game to find 3 differences in those designs? What’s the prize? (I’m having a hard time finding them) I always thought working for Google would be the worst job a graphic designer could ever had… You just proved it to me.

   Actually, when I posted that comment the two images were identical (they were both the ‘after’ image). They were changed shortly afterwards.
