This would be pretty helpful as users who have been using other webmail services can now make a switch easily to their Gmail accounts. With a few clicks all that is made easy as you go to settings and then check the option to import your emails and contacts to your existing Gmail ID. The procedure takes in a couple of days, maybe a bit more but the team makes sure that all is done at the earliest. I guess this is the right bait as more people will readily move over Gmail given that they can have their emails easily transferred to their new Gmail account and utilize the bulk of storage space Google gives away for the mail box.
