Notify.me, the web notification service that let users get real-time notifications via SMS, IM and email, has now launched a Adobe AIR based desktop app. The desktop app is not as feature rich as the web based version, but is nevertheless a simpler version to the web service.

According to Jason Wieland, Notify,me’s CEO:

We are soft launching it for about a week because it is pre-release with an almost certainty of some bugs…we concentrated this release on stability. We are following the mantra, “release early, release often” and the plan is to make an iteration on the app every week or two.
