Nokia has today confirmed its acquisition of Symbian Limited, the world leader in open source mobile OS. Presently all the conditions that had been offered by Nokia have been met and have received acceptance of more than 99.9% of total Symbian shares. There’s isn’t much information about this from Nokia but all Symbian employees will be Nokia’s, effective from February 1, 2009.
