After almost a week, Nokia has finally confirmed its anticipated Netbook at the Nokia World ’09. Nokia announced the specifications of the Netbook along with its price which is around $820. Now Nokia has been pretty clear that it doesn’t want it to be called a Netbook, which I guess is quite right especially given its price which is quite high. However it has almost all the aspects of a Netbook and many would continue to call it that. The device specs are:
-
Display size: 10.1 inch, 1280×720 pixels, Glass window.
-
CPU and OS: Intel Atom 1.6 Ghz, Windows 7.
-
Memory and Storage: 1GB DDR2 RAM with 120GB HDD.
-
Battery Life: 16 cell battery with 12 hours of full-charged life.
-
Connectivity: In-built WLAN, also supports 3G data connections.
-
Nokia Services: Ovi Suite 2.0, Nokia Music for PC, Ovi Maps and Social Hub.
-
Other: GPS, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera with microphone and Accelerometer.
-
Design and Color: Comes in three colors namely Black, White and Azure.
