image-thumb33 Newsnomad is Digg for the Mobile world Newsnomad is a new mobile friendly service that could be summarized in one sentence as the Digg for the mobile devices. The service has surfaced at a very good time, when mobile web surfing is increasing and might become more prevalent than surfing the web from desktops. The release of smart mobile devices such as the iPhone only aggravates the situation.

Newsnomad has several advantages over Digg when it comes to mobile devices. Firstly you don’t need to login to your account, or for that matter even create an account, in order to digg a story. Secondly the service shows the stories on a mobile friendly page and links to the mobile friendly version of stories from Reuters, CNN, Time Magazine etc. This saves you from getting into a situation where you a huge page is thrown to your tiny mobile screen and you can’t help wonder what to do about it.
