Just in June 2008, Bill Gates retired from his day to day work responsibilities at Microsoft, but he remaining the chairman and the companies biggest shareholder. Now after just a few months, bill can’t leave his passion for technology, forming a “Think Tank” company called BGC3 LLc.

Bill defines his new venture as

Federal trademark filings provide more clues – describing bgC3 as a think tank, under a generic trademark classification that corresponds broadly to areas including “scientific and technological services,” ‘industrial analysis and research,’ and ‘design and development of computer hardware and software.

What’s the company about:

A Gates insider gives a brief — saying it’s not a commercial venture but rather a vehicle to coordinate the software mogul’s work on his business, philanthropic and scientific endeavors.

Is this the new philanthropy?, as BGC3 filled patents for it’s logo today. Also that will the new company mark as Billy’s G’s second carrier. He already owns many firms such Corbis, on of the leading online image resources on the web.
