Wired has reported a rumor regarding the release of the new Mac Mini. According to anonymous source, the new version is expected to be released by Apple during the Macworld Expo starting from January 5, 2009, in San Francisco. The keynote presentation of the event is planned on January 6. This is when Steve Jobs usually introduces key products but so far his participation is not sure and the company has kept its quiet on the matter.

Update: Steve Jobs won’t be attending theMacWorld Expo. This will be Apple’s last MacWorld Expo but not the last MacWorld Expo.
