New Relic, a company that offers subscription based service for developers  and centers its services at helping developers using the Rail platform maintaining the codes they create has raised $6 million in Series B. The present round was led by Trinity Ventures along with Benchmark Capital who continued its participation. The current round adds to the $3.5 million it raised in the A round earlier. Dan Scholnick from Trinity Ventures will take seat in the New Relic board while Peter Fenton of Benchmark Capital will head the board as chairman.
