According to Google’s CEO, Erick Schmidt, the company will be hiring a less number of employees and also won’t be buying a large number of companies due to limited ad budget. In order to cope up with the slow pace of revenue generation, the search engine giant is flooding the new ads everywhere.

Now you can find Google ads beneath search image results, Google Maps search results, Google homepage on T-Mobile’s G1, etc. Also the company is experimenting with some ads like AdWords are shown against some image results, YouTube’s promoted videos, etc. Will this strategy be successful? Well only time can tell, but lets hope for the best.
