NetShelter Technology Media announced raising $11.1 million in its first round of funding. The round was backed by Rho Canada, JLA Ventures and GrowthWorks Canadian Fund. The funds come after a decade in a bid to further expand its business. The service with more than 50 million worldwide visitors now has a larger reach than the CNET online tech news site that was earlier acquired by CBS.
