Mike Homer, former Netscape exec breathed his last on Sunday, losing his battle against a brain disease. He was suffering from degenerative neurological disorder called Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease that leads to dementia. The veteran had been busy with investments in startups apart from spending his time with family. Mike had been diagnosed of the illness in 2007 and had been asked by his friends including Marc Andreessen to spread awareness regarding the disease. We offer our condolences for the bereaved family.
