Netlog, a social network based in Belgium has announced joining the OpenSocial program of Google.
Netlog plans at offering their apps in multiple languages with an idea to localize the OpenSocial apps. It plans to actively help developers to work on and develop the apps in the local languages thus making it more OPEN. All this is in line with their advertisement hat states “the development of quality applications, combined with advertising and our unique eco-system; we provide an opportunity for companies to directly engage with customers.”
Pretty unknown, the website shows stats that say it has 35 million users and is localized in almost 20 languages of the continent.![]()
Reading the figures, I am quite surprised that I haven’t come across it before or received friend invite requests ( I have plenty of friends in that part of the world:s)
