Naver, a popular and top search portal of Korea acquired Me2Day – another popular micro-blogging service of Korea. The deal was made for 2.2 billion Korean Wan (around $2 million). Me2Day gives access to login by OpenID accounts as well. Naver is ranked by comScore as the fifth most used search portal in the world.
