Mytopia, an online game company has decided to shift its main focus towards making software applications, not just games, that can run on a range of platforms. The company has a game world with a million registered users, 250,000 of whom visit the site each month. Though apart from that Mytopia aims to stretch further as it announced 8 of its games to be made available on Windows Mobile smartphones. The games, such as poker, are already available on Facebook, Hi5, Bebo, and MySpace. Guy Ben-Artzi, Chief Executive, Mytopia said:
“We are becoming a platform to shift content to run on all platforms.”
“We are talking to partners in a variety of industries. Games were a great place to start because they are very demanding applications. We built a platform that made us see a bigger picture.”
