MySpace, the worlds 2nd largest social network is launching a new worldwide service that will allow you to watch mobile videos from your cell phone. With this MySpace could definitely give mobile video-streaming some boost as it get’s close to 10m monthly hits on it’s mobile site.
If you have uploaded videos via the Myspace video player and up loader on the website, you can watch those videos on mobile while traveling or commuting. Along with that MySpace has partnered up with major companies. The partners include names like TMZ, National Hockey League, National Geographic, The Onion and College Humor, to bring upon featured content and shows, thus giving it some “Money Making Space”.
RipCode, would be the content delivery network MySpace’s latest venture.
This brings us about mobile carriers and their service charges, mobile streaming could be costly for some users.
