MySpace lets you upload photos from your mobile

Saad Ali Abbasi

MySpace_logo The social networking service, MySpace, finally supports mobile photo uploads, long time coming! Users can now upload photos to their profile from their mobile. This should come as a nice change for MySpace users, as more and more people have access to the Internet through their phones. And of course the new line of PDA phones have further upped the use.

To log-on and use this feature, users must first go through some of the following steps:

  • Go to My Account,
  • Click Mobile,
  • Check out the option of Send Photos from your Phone,
  • Set a password and MySpace will create an email address for you, where you can add your phone’s address book,
  • The next time you want to upload a photo to your profile, you can email it to that address,
  • The Photos go into My Photos album by default.

Though there’s no other folder the photos reach, I bet that’s enough for MySpace users for now. I mean, they’ll be asking for a better service soon, but that’s the best MySpace could do for now.

MySpace.com doesn’t offer upload of photos from m.myspace.com; the service’s site for access through mobile phones.

I have emailed my pics to the address created for me 3 times. I cant figure out where to retrieve the pics from. They are not in my "My Photos". Under my account it mentioned "My Mobile Photos Folder", I've been unsuccessful finding it also. My phone said my pics was sent successfully... any suggestions?
