Yahoo’s director of sales operations in the U.S, Valeh Vakili has called it quits with Yahoo and will be joining MySpace as the Senior Vice President of sales strategy and operations. At Yahoo She had been responsible for integrating sales teams from the companies acquired and merging them with that of Yahoo.

The executives have left Yahoo in numbers over the past few months owing to the failed deal with Microsoft and the falling market value of Yahoo and its business. On the other hand MySpace had recently hired five new VPs, two of whom belonged to Yahoo (although they underwent company layoffs).

It remains to bee seen how much more blood is drawn out of Yahoo until it regains its past position in the web sphere.
